Sabre is an assistant professor in the Faculty of Education at University of British Columbia, Okanagan. She teaches in both the undergraduate and graduate programs in the areas of educational leadership, educational foundations, and diversity and education. She is currently engaged in a three year, nationally funded research project exploring why it is that some schools, and those within them, flourish. Using appreciative, positive, and strengths-based research approaches she and her research team will partner with schools to design research activities that attend to each site’s particular interests and needs.
